Reason to celebrate, but more work ahead

While the immediate threat of the fiscal cliff is finally gone, it’s important to remember that this week’s revenue deal failed to solve the long-term structural problems with Louisiana’s tax structure.

Justice for all?

The criminal justice system in Louisiana was built on notions of racism and white supremacy, so it’s no surprise that the system continues to produce racially biased results.
