Ending DACA is bad for business

President Donald Trump is expected to withdraw Obama-era legal protections for more than 800,000 immigrants who arrived in the United States as children of undocumented parents. Many recipients of DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, have lived in America for decades, building families, careers, and businesses.

House budget proposal puts Louisiana at great risk

SNAP: A rural lifeline

Families living in rural areas are more likely to rely on the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, than those in urban areas, according to new research by the Food Research Action Center.
