Louisiana uninsured rate hits historic low

More Louisiana residents than ever before were covered by health insurance in 2016, according to figures released Tuesday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Cassidy-Graham Bill Would Deeply Cut Health Coverage Funding for Louisiana

Cassidy wants cuts to care

Sen. Bill Cassidy remains committed to ending the Medicaid expansion that is covering more than 430,000 low-income Louisianans, eliminating individual market subsidies for middle-income people and capping and cutting the traditional Medicaid program.
