The Louisiana Budget Project is pleased to announce a daily roundup of news about state budget and tax policies. The “Daily Dime” will be published each weekday morning and will look at fiscal issues that are making news in Louisiana and around the country and how they affect low- and moderate-income residents. It is available by email by signing up here, and by clicking “like” on LBP’s Facebook page.

The Daily Dime will also include a “Number of the Day,” – a figure that sheds light on the budget issues that shape our state. We encourage readers to submit suggestions for a number of the day, along with a source, to karenmiller@lano.org for a chance to be featured in a future “Daily Dime.”
